House

“Coll verd and Martinet”  are two apartments that form a restored 19th Century Catalan farm house. The house is situated in Sils, a small village in the region called La Selva and was built beside the village’s church and is surrounded by forest.

The amenities are situated on the ground floor of the house. The house has been divided into 2 apartments (IRA’s – Independent Rural Apartment’s) with a capacity of lodging 4 to 6 people each. Each apartment is fully heated and contains a dining room, kitchen, bathroom and two big bedrooms.

Behind the house there is a swimming pool surrounded by an expansive garden with a lawn area and plenty of shade to protect you from the sun.

The ambience is enhanced by the presence of antique farm tools and an estuary fillled with bird species and other kinds of terrestrial fauna, This is the reason why the apartments take the names of two birds: “Coll verd” and “Martinet”. Near the house, is what remains of Sil’s lake, a lake that once occupied a surface area of more than 7 square kilometres and now is a protected area for it’s  environmental and ecological value.
